The first newsletter has been released! Hopefully everyone received it via email. The newsletter includes all the information needed for you to make an informed decision before choosing a location. We would like if each family’s head of house hold, or anyone signing the checks,
to fill out the “Reunion Locations Poll” (linked at the end of this post).
You can download the Newsletter HERE.

You can submit your vote HERE or email info@carbullidoreunion.com (just be sure to follow the format).

Choice, choices, choices…
Celina, Joanna, my mom, and I spent the last couple of weeks scoping out possible places to hold our reunion. Out of the thirty or more place we contacted we managed to narrow it down to three great choices. They are the Northstar at Lake Tahoe, the Town and Country San Diego and the Kona Kai San Diego. They all offer something a little different. The Northstar is a ski resort in Lake Tahoe that has a very family friendly atmosphere with activities galore and home like lodging. The amount of possibilities for this location is really exciting. The Town and Country is the more affordable in terms of nightly lodging fees of the three and boasts to be San Diego’s largest conference resort. It has meeting rooms galore, a spa and salon on site and is just 4 miles from Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. The Kona Kai is really beautiful. It is secluded, has its own private beach and is Hawaiian themed. Although we won’t be there at the time they throw their weekly luaus, they said they can definitely hook us up during our stay (for a small fee of course).
Choices, choices, choices….
Which one to pick?
We’re going to have a family survey up and running very soon. Check out the websites of the three locations to get a feel for what they offer so we can make the best decision for our family.

YAY! I’m so excited that we’ve decided to do this reunion. We’re still in the baby planning stages and we have just a little over a year to get it done. It will be nice to see a great number of the family together on such a happy occasion. I hope everyone can get involved in some way; through committee work or just showing up and having fun. I’ve been looking around at planning sites and other family reunions’ websites. They make me laugh, “Oh look at our huge family reunion of 70!” Right now the numbers for invitees are around 300! Can you believe that? And for that reason it’s important for everyone to get involved. Not only will it ease the workload, but it will also help to make this reunion the most fun it could possibly be. Make sure you check back at our website frequently as new changes are coming weekly (or even daily at this point). – Tomika
